THURSDAY THUNKS meme: Elephants and GPS

Yay Kimber and Berlene!

The TT questions are brought to you by Berleen, the color of my kitchen table and the number 45.

10. What number blog post is this for you?
9. You are driving down a road and your GPS says turn right, but the road has a Dead End sign. You check your GPS and according to it's map, there is a road at the end of the Dead End road that you need to turn onto. Do you follow the GPS?
Yep, then swear loudly as I turn around at the end of some redneck's driveway to get back...

8. If you had a $2 bill, would you spend it?

Yep. Money is money. Those novelty coins and bills only annoy me. I would probably spend the $2 bill first!

7. When there is nobody else around and you sneeze or cough, do you cover your mouth?

6. You are a DJ at a radio station and your
first guest is Bud... what is the first question you are going to ask him?
Can you not swear or say "blow me"?

5. Have you ever stopped to help a stranger with a flat tire?
Yes, but not to help with the tire. I have let people use my phone and I have given a ride to someone to the exit garage to get a can of gasoline. I ride around in summer with a cooler full of bottled chilled water in case I see someone stranded on the road. I hypothetically will offer it to them, especially elderly people or families with children.

4. You get on an airplane and you find that your seat neighbor is Kimber... what do you talk about or do you ignore her completely?
I'll discuss everything!

3. Have you ever rode an elephant?
Not yet and I find the ones in carnivals to be cruelty to animals and won't do it.

2. Time to bitch & moan! What is your biggest complaint about your current friends on Facebook?
That damned Farmville. Like I give a rat's a$# err...hoot that they found a pile of cow crap for extra points! A close 2nd is POKING.

1. School is back in session for all little girls and boys now. What, in your life, changes when kids go back to school?

My ride to work becomes longer and irritating.

  1. You offer water hypothetically? You mean this is only a concept?

  2. OK Smartypantz..."a plan" is a better way to describe it. It is something that has not had to happen yet. Seems I don't have the water when I see people stranded. When I do remember to have it with me, I don't see anyone at the side of the road. Now it's cooler out, so it's more a warm drink they'll be needing. Hmmm...How will I do that?

  3. Like your answer to #6. It does get a little superficial after following his answers for Thunks.

  4. Love the whole redneck thing. It's so true- Bloodhound and more.

    Have a great day!

  5. The GPS answer is priceless because I believe most of us would do the same damn thing!

I wonder...if you had Bud put a dollar in a jar for every time he utters a profane statement, how much money would you have by the end of the week...I know I would be broke by day two.

Great Thunking, Kathy A. Enjoy the day!

  6. Oh, and no I can "not swear or say 'blow me'. On the blog...

  7. WOW! Thanks everyone for your comments. Debster you have a great sense of humor! : ) Nope, no swear jar in the house...I'd probably fill it before he does, especially after a coupla glasses of vino.Harriet, Bud answers the questions before he reads anyone else's answers so we are completely independent of each other in that respect. I am always tickled to see similar answers from him, but as Bud Weiser, he is certainly not to be taken seriously, as you know.

  8. Oops, I meant Hootin' on that comment about Bud answers...sorry Harriet...Me is a Space cadet sometimes. : )

  9. Those rednecks are dangerous aren't they? lol...I always think of "Deliverance" and hear the Dueling Banjos song when I'm backing up into their driveway to get away quick! Happy Thunking, Kathy :)
